Activities at Surrey Place are designed to enhance the physical, mental and psychosocial well-being of each resident. Individual and group activities are planned by an activities therapist on each unit of the facility. During this past year, Surrey Place provided over 180 different types of activities to our residents. Surrey Place specializes in providing activities which support quality of life and promote family and staff involvement. Our special events include; resident/staff talent shows, glamour shots, dog shows, resident/staff happy hours, trick-or-treat Halloween party for the grandchildren and much more. Trips to St. Louis landmarks are planned on a regular basis and religious services of all denominations are offered six days/week.

Surrey Place provides a home-like atmosphere incorporating live plants and pet therapy. Surrey Place has two large bird aviaries, one facility cat, and several friendly dogs. Visitors may also bring their family pet into Surrey Place once proof of vaccinations has been provided to us.
