Employment
Whatever your specialty or experience, St. Luke's Surrey Place welcomes you to become part of our tradition of caring.
Current employment openings at all St. Luke's facilities

I have been the Director of Rehabilitation at Surrey Place since 1998. Prior to that time, I was a Speech Therapist working with patients to help rehabilitate them to their highest level of function. I have appreciated both roles at Surrey Place and each has given me an opportunity to grow as a professional.
The work atmosphere at Surrey is a supportive team environment with therapy and nursing working side by side to facilitate the rehab success of our patients. The Therapists are highly skilled with years of experience, which makes my job as their supervisor an enjoyable one. The flexibility that is allowed in my work schedule enables me to more easily balance work and family. I take pride in working at Surrey Place, and I am enthusiastic about being part of a dynamic team.

Why I Work at Surrey
I've worked at Surrey Place as a physical therapist for over 10 years. Even with many other physical therapy job opportunities in the area, I choose to continue working at Surrey Place because Surrey provides a work environment that allows me to focus on giving quality care to my patients. The patients are well taken care of from a nursing standpoint so that therapy sessions are focused on their therapy goals.
My supervisor is flexible and understanding which is so helpful when juggling work and having a family. The employees of Surrey Place are supportive of each other and have come together on a regular basis to help a fellow employee in need. As an employee of St. Luke's Hospital/Surrey Place, I feel appreciated. I would, and have, recommended Surrey Place as a great place to work for anyone who places delivering quality care to the residents as a priority in their job setting.
