I've worked at Surrey Place as a physical therapist for over 10 years. Even with many other physical therapy job opportunities in the area, I choose to continue working at Surrey Place because Surrey provides a work environment that allows me to focus on giving quality care to my patients. The patients are well taken care of from a nursing standpoint so that therapy sessions are focused on their therapy goals.
My supervisor is flexible and understanding which is so helpful when juggling work and having a family. The employees of Surrey Place are supportive of each other and have come together on a regular basis to help a fellow employee in need. As an employee of St. Luke's Hospital/Surrey Place, I feel appreciated. I would, and have, recommended Surrey Place as a great place to work for anyone who places delivering quality care to the residents as a priority in their job setting.
