As healthcare changes, the need for short-term rehabilitation increases. Surrey Place provides many services for individuals requiring short-term medical intervention after acute care hospitalization. Our admissions personnel work closely with hospital social workers and case managers to ensure a quick and easy admission process 7 days per week. Each Patient's medical and background information are obtained prior to the patient's arrival at Surrey Place to ensure a smooth transition from the hospital to Short-Term Rehabilitation. Surrey Place offers a progressive approach to rehabilitation. Physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy are available to residents six days a week if medically indicated. Nursing care is administered primarily by registered nurses working in conjunction with the professional services of a social worker; registered dietician and music therapist.
