"My mother has been a resident in long term care for over 6 years and I couldn't be more pleased. The facility is clean, bright, modern and well maintained. The most impressive aspect, however, is the quality of the people. Whether it be management, nursing care, physical therapy, activities, dietary, housekeeping, or maintenance personnel, all are friendly and cooperative. Along this line, there seems to be a management philosophy to make sure people are treated with respect and make certain any patient issues are investigated and resolved in a fair and timely manner. The welfare of the patient seems to be of prime importance. My mother has had a couple of overnight stays at St. Luke's Hospital and of course no one enjoys being in the hospital. The greatest compliment to Surrey Place has been her expressed desire to always get back home to her own bed, routine, and friends at Surrey Place. In closing, I should also mention that the activities program is outstanding and has been a great source of enjoyment for my mother."
